The provincial constituencies PS-75 (Thatta-I) and PS-76 (Thatta-II) define the political representation of Thatta District by dividing its talukas and administrative circles according to geographic and community characteristics. PS-75 Thatta-I consists of Thatta Taluka along with selected areas of Ghorabari Taluka, including Town Committee Ghorabari, Gulel Tapedar Circle, Khan Tapedar Circle, and Kotri Allah Rakhio Shah Tapedar Circle of the Ghorabari Supervisory Tapedar Circle.

This constituency largely represents the historic and administrative heart of the district, where urban settlements coexist with surrounding rural communities. In contrast, PS-76 Thatta-II covers Mirpur Sakro Taluka and Keti Bunder Taluka, along with the remaining areas of Ghorabari Taluka after excluding those included in PS-75. PS-76 therefore represents a more coastal and rural landscape, with communities closely linked to fishing, agriculture, and coastal livelihoods.

The exclusion and inclusion of specific tapedar circles ensure that each constituency remains administratively coherent and socially balanced. Together, PS-75 and PS-76 reflect the diverse character of Thatta District, allowing elected representatives to focus on localized issues while contributing to provincial legislation in the Sindh Assembly. This constituency framework plays an important role in shaping political participation, governance priorities, and representation across the district’s historic towns and coastal regions.
