Peshawar Villages And Towns

Peshawar is the capital of Khyber Pakhyunkhwa Province of Pakistan. There are 247 villages / rural localities in Peshawar District. According to 2017 census, 46.16 percent of its population resides in urban areas, while the remaining 53.84 percent lives in villages and towns situated in rural regions.

Among the villages in Peshawar, 139 have population of 5,000 or more. Additionally, 52 villages have between 2,000 to 4,999 residents. There are also 29 villages in the Peshawar with population ranging from 1,000 to 1,999 inhabitants.
